General Directorate of Statistics of Gabon

The DGS (Direction Générale des Statistiques) is a central administration of the Ministry of Economy, Trade, Industry and Tourism. It is at the center of the national statistical information system, whose mission is to provide up-to-date statistical information relating to the life of Gabon. In addition to the DGS, the statistical system includes services responsible for developing sectoral statistics for government departments and public and para-public bodies.
