Subscription Details

Recurring subscription license on an annual basis, billed quarterly and in some cases in advance annually.  One-time custom bespoke projects priced on a project basis for licensed clients of BQ.

Update Granularity

BQ employment, welfare, and retirement plan level data is updated monthly to all subscribers.  All data captured is verifiable to the source document and in time series.  Any changes and restatements provided by the company is captured in time series and no existing data from previous filings are overwritten in the database. Future product will include daily alerts to subscribers on a subset of data items.

Price

Licensing fees for BizQualify data access ranges per market vertical.  Within Capital Markets license fee ranges from $25k-$100k per annum for U.S. Public company and plan level data.  $25k-$100k per annum for U.S. private company and plan level data.  All fees are priced at the department level within companies and access is granted on an enterprise use-case within the licensed department.  One-time custom bespoke data cuts are priced on a project basis.  For the Firmographic market segment fees are determined in specific use-cases per client.  Depending the use-case and amount of data metrics licenses, fees can be set at a wide-range depended on firm size, number of users who access BQ, and downstream distribution to end-client rights.

BizQualify is a provider of employment and company benefit plan related data for all US Public and Private companies providing employee benefits. All employment and benefits plan level data collected by BizQualify is sourced directly from the Form 5500 that is filed by companies through the US Department of Labor (DOL) and the IRS. Our agreement with the IRS and DOL is through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).

Collection Methodology

BQ has company employment and benefit plan level data on 4,000 US public companies, and 1million plus US private companies.  All US public and private companies who provide employee benefits regardless of size must file Form 5500 with the IRS and DOL.  We capture over 250 data items from all firms in this category (filers).  The data is point-in-time and history goes back to 2010.  This data is collected monthly through a direct feed from the DOL and IRS to BizQualify.  BQ processes all data changes on a monthly basis and makes available to all clients simultaneously 3-7 days from receiving the data from the DOL and IRS.  In addition, BQ collects company firmographic data (name, website, location, phone number) on 12 million U.S. private companies (non-filers).  The non-filer data is updated on a quarterly basis.

 All data collected is from U.S. Public and Private companies who conduct business in the U.S.  This includes U.S. affiliates of Multinational companies.

Cadence

All public and private company data that is filed through Form 5500 to the IRS and DOL is updated monthly.  All foundational firmographic data for non-filing private companies is updated quarterly.
