INOVAYT

INOVAYT provides U.S. trademark time series data on the S&P 100. INOVAYT has taken the headache out of dealing with trademark data. The U.S. government supplies all of the necessary data in some form, but it is riddled with errors, inconsistencies, missing values, rule changes, name mismatches, etc. Just to get started, you have to deal with over 200GB of unwieldy data (that doesn't even include the images). The company name alias/mismatch issue is a notoriously difficult problem. Using machine learning algorithms and human beings, this has been elegantly accommodated. See http://www.inovayt.com.
