Radar works through clouds and at night, allowing collection of information about activities on the Earth rain or shine. Based in Ithaca, NY, Ursa was founded in 2014 by leaders in the satellite and software security fields with the vision to unlock the potential of data and insights derived from radar satellite imaging.
Collection Methodology 
At Ursa, we leverage SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) data, aggregated from radar satellite providers around the globe and analyzed by real in-house experts for critical insights.
