Update Granularity

All new data is timestamped at the moment it is collected. So the granularity can be down to the millisecond if needed. Historical data is archived with timestamps, with original data and revisions archived separately for true point-in-time observation frequency.

All data is collected from original public sources, either from press releases, company IR web pages or company IR contacts. We use a combination of machine harvesting and human confirmations for accuracy - a "high tech + high touch" approach.

Historical data time series length varies by event type. Many events go back to 1/2006. All historical data is archived in a true point-in-time format, with revisions archived in separate records. A catalog of historical data is available upon request.

Cadence

Data is collected and databases are updated continuously in real time. New data is fed into our API as soon as it is added to the database. Our FTP files are updated on a regular schedule throughout the day from 5AM to 11PM ET.

Known Biases

PDUFA data contains FDA approval dates only, not internal company trial dates.
